Our Under 17 squad made the short trip to Newmarket this morning and came up against a physical and resilient Newmarket Celtic side . Thankfully it was our boys who came out on top to make it 2 league wins out of 2 . 

Avenue U17's travelled to McDonough Park this morning to take on Newmarket Celtic in what was a fast and physical encounter. Avenue went into a 2 nil lead and were beginning to look comfortable. But a goal from a corner brought Newmarket back into the game and the first half finished with Avenue 2:1 up. The second half produced some exciting football with both teams giving it their all. However neither team could find the back of the net and the game ended 2:1 to the Avenue. Well done to both teams for putting on such an exciting game.

Our Under 12 National Cup squad made the journey to Maynooth today to play the hosts Maynooth Town . Our Boys put in a dominant team performance to secure a 3-0 win and now advance to the Last 16 of the competition.
