Our Junior A Team Squad welcomed St Francis FC from Dublin to Roslevan on Sunday afternoon for their Round 4 clash . 


We got off to a great start, scoring after 10 minutes following some Outstanding work from Dylan Casey to get off the ground following a foul to play an inch perfect pass to Jack Ryan whose control & finish were brilliant. 


We doubled our lead in the 35th Minute . Fantastic play from Ronan Kerin & Dylan Casey and a great delivery from Casey finds Jack Ryan in the middle. Jack's deft touch finds the bottom corner to make it 2-0 to the Avenue 🎶 It remained 2-0 until the break . 

In the 76th Minute , there was some Great play from Ronan Kerin to flick a ball across to Elias who was bombing through the centre & slotted home our third goal of the afternoon. 

Quickly after in the 77th Minute , A great ball through by Elias found Steven McGann & McGann slotted to the back of the net to make it 4-0 . 
In fact, McGann got his second of the afternoon in the 79th minute , following some Great work down the left from Kaden & Dylan Casey, McGann leaves it to Jamie & gets it back. With his back to goal he back heels it into the net with his right foot. 

In the 83rd minute , Elias is put through after great pressure from McGann.
A great save from the St Francis goalkeeper from Elias' initial shot, but he's alive to the rebound & finishes to the roof of the net to get his second goal of the afternoon . 

In the 87th minute , a Corner in from Dylan Casey is met by Jamie Roche whose header smashes off the crossbar.
Sean O'Callaghan meets the rebound on the goal line to help it over*. It may have been own goal but Sean is convinced he got the final touch !!

Well done to our A Team squad and Management team who had a dominant performance and result earlier this afternoon . We now advance to Round 5 of the FAI Junior Cup .
