Our A Team started the game brightly this morning and opened the scoring within 4 minutes of the opening kickoff . A great pass from Dylan Casey found Philip Talty through on goal and Talty slotted to the back of the net . Talty got his second in the 19th minute , a good cross from Stephen Jordan out wide found Talty once again and he was able to slot home for our second . In the 30th minute , Stephen Jordan added his name to the scoresheet by being nice and composed on the edge of the box and curling the ball to the back of the net . Ronan Kerin made it 4-0 after 43 minutes . Another sublime cross by Stevie Jordan and a brave header by Mossy Hehir found Ronan Kerin about 6 yards out and he buried the ball to the net . In the 51st minute , Ronan got his second of the game to make it 5-0 . Great work from Talty to keep the ball in play , nice combination play between Jamie and McGann and then a good pass from McGann found Ronan through on goal .
We continued to create chances , McGann going close at one stage but found his effort well saved by the Tulla GK . Gary Roche went close to scoring also but found his efforts saved by the GK and one that went narrowly wide at the near post . We managed the game very well and managed to keep a clean sheet which was also important . The A team now advance to the 1/4 Finals of the Clare Cup . Well done to all Players and Coaches involved .

Avenue B win on penalties
Well done to our Junior B team who had an excellent team performance and result against an in form Inch Crusaders team . Gary Flynn the hero in the shoot-out with 2 saves and he also converted his penalty . The B team now advance to the 1/4 Final of the Clare Cup 🔥🔥
Shoutout also to our Under 17 and Youths players who played for the B team this afternoon . Well done to all Players and Coaches involved .
